need tire recommendation

I'm looking for a new set of tires on the old '85. Limited choices for the 225/60R15 sizes on the market today. So far I've only found BF Goodrich T/A's, Toyo Extensa A/S, Kumho KR21, Falken 912. I'm looking for good dry & wet traction with a balance of decent wear and noise. The car doesn't see snow, so this is not a factor.

Anybody have any recommendations?

I like the BF's but I don't have any experience with any of the others.

Stick with rubber. Wood is outdated.

Kumho also offers their performance all-season Ecsta ASX in that size. That would be my choice, the BFG Radial T/As are very old technology now.

cheers

I would go with falken tires, I had a set and the preformed unbelieveable. Also you can go 245/50/16 without any issues. I had 255/50/16 on my lowered gt with very little rubbing
