Hi

I replaced both head lights and fog lights with the following products. They both hooked to the parking light lines. And I also brought the best bulbs in the head light package.

I found both head lights and fog lights are not bright enough, especially these circles are way too dim. What can I do?

Did you hook everything up like they said in the instructions?

Yes, I did it two times. First installation and then replaced another one after driver side light crashed by a flying object.

I want to ask if anyone else used the same lights and they are happy with that?

It's still ok, as good as the stock ones, but not as bright as I expected. I was expecting them close to normal HID.

BTW, what's HID solution for 06 Mustang GT?

Projectors did really get much brighter then the open style that you have from factory. They just make a razor line instead of a wide open beam. You will need to buy a HID kit and install them into the projectors for your lights to be brighter. Having the projector bodies help not blind on coming traffic.

But these headlights are marked with "not for HID". Can I still install HID kit?

I think as long as you use the 35w ones, you should be ok. I don't think the projectors in my santa fe suv are suppose to have HID's in them either, but people all over the place are installing them in there as well. Some are even using the 55w versions in them as well. I would search around on the forums for those headlights and see if others are running HID's in them or not.

I don't think you're the only one having this issue with that kit (and similar ones).

I was also curious in purchasing a kit like this, but ended up going with an HID Kit because of some of the complaints about visibility.
I was reading through the reviews of the product and found the following...

"I would recommend getting the brighter bulbs."
"Visibility takes some use to. High beams are great. Low beams aren't as bright as the factory lights."
"I recommend getting the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs to use with these and if you compare the instensity of light vs stock there is not a comparison."

I've seen similar kits by Raxiom they all have the same review.

Looks like you're going to need some 35'ers...
