just went to run the mustangs for a while(parked for the winter) but opened the garage door and gas all over the floor. the wifes 04 gt spung a leak in the tank what a bummer full tank and must be at least 4-5 gallon alerady on the floor

 

Damn, did you find where its leaking from?

 

no to cold just but a pail under it till i can take it off it has the plastic cover over it so you cant see anything

 

shitty deal. ya the plastic cover can be a pain.

how often do gas tanks... just "spring leaks" though?

 

Dude thats horrible...but the good side up gas is cheap right now fix the leak and fill er up on 94 Octane.

Is the tank rotten? I wonder if a line broke...?

probably the return line leaking... gotta drop the tank most likely or at least take off the coverings...
