Now what should I do

I am starting to price quads/side by sides and damn if I did not see a 90 UltraBlue Mustang GT for sale, the exact same color as my first Mustang. The car has a mere 64,000 k and seems like it is in good shape. I have not purchased a used car before so I am just a tad nervous. Oh and the other thing is when I lifted the hood it had twin turbo's. The guy is asking 9000.00, is this a good price or way to high??

If the car is solid and clean, and it has value to you for sentimental reasons, then it is worth $ 9000, but look it over carefully. As others have stated, it would be nice to know more specifics on the powertrain.

I am with the group. with twin turbos - did he beef up the internals or is it going to die an early death. My first mustang was a 90 GT. I have a definite soft spot for that car.

I would actually prefer the car be stock than running the twin turbo's. I am going again to see the chap tomorrow and will ask tech type questions. Not being a mech head at all I would say the turbo's look on the smaller side at this point which is useless to you guys in the know lol

Somehow I don't see you as the used car kind of guy. (Not a bad thing, just very picky) Too many questions, and you're too particular about your vehicles to wonder if there's something about the car you don't know about.

Well that was quick, someone showed up with the $$$$$ and the car was gone. At least he phoned me so I did not waste the trip. Back to Quads lol
