Opinions anyone ??

Folks,

I have a '07 Gt coupe.

Car is in the garage and I have the dt's

Looking to put rims on this ywear..I cannot decide to go the classic route..that is, I remember everyone had cragars on their cars in the 70's or go with steeda or a shiny bullitt look alike.

I haven't had much luck with buying used so where is the best place to buy in Canada or should I go to a company such as ttp://www.americanmuscle.com/. I was very please with DaSilva racing but they don't have anything on their web to look at.

I also want to buy some other things so you input on where to buy would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry I cant help you with rims, in fact I'm not even really sure were a good place to buy some. I would try Google pages from Canada or any Mustang shop.

Are you looking for power upgrades? How much you looking to spend?
How far do you want to go with it.

No. I have the cold air kit and that is about all I want to do. This car is about cruising and with my sidepipes, if I want a louder sountrack, I just have to push a bit harder on the loud petal.

I am looking for things like a shorter arial..I am surprised it has an external one. Better sound..I gather that Best Buy has a "Mustang Special" and struts for the enging bonnet.

Is there any stick, heat resistant coloured paper that you can cover the inner reflective coating of your lights..I saw a car a coupe of months ago which I swear he had done that.

About the rims, my son hates 'em...and someone told me that a car isn't yours until you change the rims...don't agree 100% but it is a thought..

well with rims, you gotta decide what goes best with you're personality, and the style of the car. what color is the car?

as for the arial, if you want a cleaner look, find a motorized one. I have a motorized one in my Talon, and will prob go that way with the stang too.

Here are some pics of my car.. Hello from Nova Scotia - Canadian Mustang Owners Club

Actually never thought about an electric pop up..I was just going to go with a 12 inch shortie but I have to think about that one...

These are a few that I am pondering:

The Steeda

Chrome Steeda Pentar Mustang Wheel - 2005+ (18x9.5) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Mustang replica

Chrome 2005 Mustang Bullitt Wheels at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Cragar

Chrome Cragar S/S Wheel - 2005+ (20x9) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Now if I can find a set used..I will go with those..my money tree died last year

Those Cragar's look pretty sweet!Everybody does Bullitts of all shades no matter what year of stang. The Cragar rims would be diffenrent visually.

What color is your car first of all? Do you have any striping?

IMO bullits are waaaay overdone, and belong on a bullitt, cragers are just a little different and IMO look better as not as overdone. Couldn't say 100% till i saw a photochop or another car with them on it though.

IMO it's a shame that American Racing doesn't make a Torque Thrust II in an 18" for the modern Stang

or maybe they do.....I dunno

AR TT IIs are not "bullit" wheels....there are many subtle differences that differentiate a TT II from a Bullit .....and IMO the replica bullit chrome boots look like cheap replica crap

when I bought my Stang...TT IIs were a must......ever since I was a kid I wanted those boots on a hot rod

lotsa hot rods run these wheels....there is a reason IMO...they belong

my 2 cents
