Thank you. I do often wave, and sometimes get return waves. I know that Harley owners and riders acknowledge each other with "down low" waves. I sometimes just lift my fingers from the steering wheel, & sometimes whole hand.

The reason I asked was I was driving with my Mum once, and she enquired "Who was that?" I replied I didn't know, but it was a Mustang. She looked puzzled, but accepted the explanation.

Further inquiry; what's the coolest (or hottest, depending on your point-of-view) looking 'Stang you've waved at?

Probably the coolest one was waiting at a stop light and on the other side of the intersection there was a GT/CS in white with the exact same stripping, same everything and we both waved as we crossed the intersection.

About a year ago we were out for an old fashioned country cruise in the middle of nowhere. We came upon a red with black convertible roof 64 mustang with their top down going in the other direction. Ours is a 09 with same colours and both cars had the tops down. We waved and they waved back, all of us smiling. We were all probably about the same.......age. Well, at least the two guys driving the cars had grey hair. :-)

Speaking as a Mustang "girl", I can say, sometimes I wave because they're in a 'Stang, other times, I'm either off in the clouds, or out to lunch, or thinking about lunch, or ... whatever. If I ignore you, chances are, I'm probably "out to lunch".

My husband says that I make the 'Stang look even better (You can see why I love him, eh?) But, there aren't any other guys who think that I improve the looks of the Mustang. If they see me, they're waving at the car, not at me. ... or even returning the wave I gave.

LOL...thanks, I like to think they're waving at the chick driving it! Really helps the ego!! The Mustang gets their attention and the girl driving keeps their attention. Besides, how often do you see a girl driving a car with a nice rumble..... and oh how I can make it rumble.

Abby...with a comment like that, your man's a keeper! Only two things that keep a man's attention......chicks and fossil fuel burning power.....you got the wave on both of those!

^^^^^^^ both you girls are a hoot! I wished my wife would drive the car more, but she's apprehensive about it. I think she looks great driving it. Or is that the car looks greater? Anyway, I used to have an 81 Camaro and she loved driving it. Thought she'd feel the same about the Stang......not! Says its too wide, long and just plain bigger (than the Camaro). Who says size doesn't matter?
Oh and "Red Pony", I like a well cooked meal too. Hee hee..........
