Are u serious?? You do know that following the second coat of wax applied it starts to "wipe" away some of itself on a 3rd layer.
The building up of coats of wax is a myth, 2 is quite enough, any more your throwing money away!
However if one finds waxing a car therapeutic ....Wax on Wax off Daniel Son
219 coats?? Seek out a Therapist!

I have applied well over 1000 since I started driving. I would put my car up against ANYONES car for shine.

I am looking into a lift for my garage. It will make it so much easier for polishing the underside of my car, which I do now, but on jack stands, and I don't feel real safe about it. Does anybody else do this? Please tell me I'm not as insane as the wife says I may be.:?

Here is another option that I've been looking at for a while.

What about putting one side of the car onto ramps, and having the opposite side on the ground??? then use a stool with rollers....but then again, sometimes rollers can be a hindrance when doing something like that. I would not trust jack stands to polish. Or just sit on the ground....
