Pirelli PZero Nero

I'm not sure what was standard issued tires for the 2011 GT with 19" rims. My car's got Pirelli PZero Nero P245/45ZR19 98W M+S. From what I've been able to find on these tires, their Ultra High Perf and highly rated. But what I really want to know is if anyone has an experience with these tires and what your opinion is.

Those are the proper tires. If you had ordered the Brembo upgrade you would have got the 255/40/19 P-Zero summer only tires.

The P-Zero Nero all-seasons are quite decent for what they are. I've driven on track on the 17" version that came as OEM on the 05-09 GT, they worked pretty well, I was impressed.

cheers

The Pirelli PZero Nero is what my 2010 GT came with, and although I haven't had it long enough to give an opinion about them, some the reviews on the net are really good.:)

Yep, great tire over all, just don't really use that compound during winter months,it DOES NOT like the cold, they hook well, pretty quiet ride, and offer excellent handling, well matched to these cars.

All I need now is a set of Shelby Super Snake 20" with the P Zero's.

"Want to buy"
Not sure where to post this, but Im looking for a set of used 18"rims to use with my winter tires, I hate the steelies... NOT looking to spend a lot on a set of rims, but if someone has a set to get rid off lemme know what you want for them, hopefully we can both be happy with a deal!... only interested locally (GTA) and surrounding areas, willing to drive an hour out if I have to.
I'm just hoping someone is thinking of getting some new after market rims and wants to get rid of the older ones they have.
My winter tires are:Yokohama W drive 245/50R 18" 104V and these have to fit your rims.
Thanks for any input
Mario

I'll sell you mine if hte weather ever gets good enough to put my new ones on, but we'd have to meet in the middle LOL.

This should be funny for people that know me but they do not hook well in the drag racing format but what stock tire does lol I made 2 passes at Race City and spun them all the way through 1st gear. Ok who wants to race tehehe

Alberta!!!!! man, I drive a Mustang not a Lear jet LOL, but thanks for the offer, cheers

Thanks guys. I've got no experience with Pirelli's, only ever had Michelins and BF Goodrich on other cars and trucks. The tires were a bit "firm" on the road the day we brought her home, but it was cold and snowing that day. Mario, I'm guessing that's what you mean by "they do not like the cold".

I find the comments about "hook" kinda funny. A hook in drag racing boats is not good, but a hook in drag racing cars is good.

Snake...not such a bad thing they kept spinning. Think of it this way, rubber burned off faster, so it was "necessary" to get replacement tires sooner. HA...as if an excuse to buy new tires was needed.
