I recently took my PZero M&S Pirelli's off and put on Nitto Xtreme Performance rubber. Just liked the look better. The Pirelli's are a pretty decent tire IMO
|
Just a few weeks ago I replaced the Pirelli's with the Sumitomos High Perf HTR Z III (summer tires), 245 F and 275 R. Definitely like them better, more grip. But they came as a package deal with the with rims I got from AM. I couldn't convince hubby to spend more $$'s. So when the time comes for replacement tires I'll look for a higher-end tire.
For now I'll keep the Pirelli's and stock rims in case I'm driving the Stang late into the fall. Not sure how good summer tires will work in these cold morning temps. |
Not so good lol

If I drove it all year I would change them out just before the first snow and when the weather (temp) cools down ie daily high of say 10c with a low of 1-2c I would just adjust my driving.

I had to convert that...I have no idea what 10c is......never got past the world of F's. :D
So you're saying better to use temps as a guage rather than "the first time I slide onto the main road from my driveway"? |
I guess I am hinting that being a great driver that you are lol you will be able to tell when the time is right. Just do not wait to long. Down Windsor way snows to me are not mandatory as they get so little of the white stuff. Out in Calgary I would change them in late Sept mid Oct at the latest.
