Possible Hood Issue?

Is there anyone else out there with an 05-09 Stang that feels like there hood is going to lift off at highway speed? I got out and checked it to make sure it was closed and gave it a good slam. Lately when I get up around 120km/h or more it starts to shake and lift up about a 1/4 inch or so near the middle of the fender, I know there will be some wind/air getting up under there but this seems like too much movement. The hood on my F150 shakes and moves a little but not this much.

Haven't noticed anything on mine. You might want to make sure theres nothing seriously wrong though. You don't want anything lifting much higher than what you've described. Even a little rise might be causing further problems later on. My brother had a hood come loose at the front latch ( not a mustang) many, many years ago. Bent it straight back to the windshield while going down the highway. He couldn't see where he was going.

Been there with an '86 Dodge Charger. I was doing maybe 60k and the hood flipped up and back. Glad it didn't break the windshield and I was able to drive onto the shoulder safely. I was able to pull it back down and get the safety latch to hook so I could drive it home.

Yeah my ol man has an 08, and anything over 140km it looks like its gonna come off, he said that Ford told him it is the way the 05-09's were designed.

The old foxbodies are the same. I remember sitting in my buddies '86 GT, and i could see the stock hood kinda bounce up, and down where it is hinged at the passenger side when we were doing a 120 kilometers down the highway!
