Pro VS. Sportlines
I am anticipating having DaSilva drop "ye old ryde", before departing for the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA. June 3rd-5th.
Many of you have already gone through this proccess.
What are the differences between Pros & Sportlines? Is it $$$ or ride comfort and handling? I assume the Sportlines are more for "daily drivin" and the Pros are for "straight line stuff", and are much stiffer.
I have only been quoted on the Pros, but I noticed on another forum, at CMOC, Sportlines seem to be a good choice.
How much was your car lowered and obviously there must be special precautions that you have to take, once you have done this, re: curbs, sloped driveways etc., depending on what is hanging off the nose of your car.

I have sportlines installed. The stance is sweet. Your 60ft times will not be as good compared to the pro kit. I'm stuck in the middle. I love the way the car looks. Sits... feels... and drives. But when it comes time to race someone. 60ft are not your friend. I've changed the upper and lower control arms as well... Deleted the Quads and added frame connectors which help a little. I'll be putting a drag radial on by the end of the month. Rear tires used to rub until she had her date with the bat... Now it's alright.

My requirements are basically streetability and appearance, other than the occasional "road combat" with some weiner in his old mans familyman sedan! No out and out straight line stuff, at this point in time anyway....
It's amazing how many people, both young and old, wanna (?) give her a "trash" in my daily excursions around town and on the 401, when I get "The Rag" out of mothballs after along winters nap.
I guess that's part of the fun in Mustangland!

i have kenny brown spring, the stance is sweet and the ride aint so good. but i have ridden in a vert with the pro lit and the stance was damn near the same(bit higher) but th erid was great. sportlines im not so sure about.

sportlines would work well then..

I would recommend Sportlines, I have had no driveability problems or clearance problems with mine (save for the flowmasters occasionally on steep pitches) and the look can't be beat. Given your criteria you will be pleased with the Sportlines.

I have the sportlines,and love the look.The ride is not to bad with the stock struts,and shocks if you are on a budget.You'll have to watch the speed bumps,and certain driveway angles.My highflow cats got some good rashing.You will need caster camber plates with the sportlines.
