Production Numbers
I have been trying to get production numbers from Ford on my 04 Competition Orange GT Convert. and they say they don't have any 
? Does anyone have a source for this data it has been rumoured there are only 408? Does anyone else have an 04 Competition Orange and do you get th equestions all the time also. The colour was only used the one year.

From what I have been able to find out from two sources now there were 408 GT Convertibles built competition orange. 177 Automatics and 231 5 speeds. It does seem like it is a rare colour. Thanks for your help and happy motoring.

Well to give you a rough idea.. approx 14% of '04 mach1's came in competition orange.. an average of 15,000 gt convertibles are made yearly.. if roughly the same % was made for gt's, roughly 2038 were in competition orange. Of that, Canada gets about 10% of those. So there are approximately 200 '04 gt convertibles in competition orange in Canada ...

Oh yes I agree there ar eless than 200 in Canada. The number I quoted, 408 GT's and 177 autos with 271 standards is total produced in North America. I would bet there are no more than 30 in Canada.
