So I'm just here to give my experience on a transmission builder I used who is located in London Ontario , he has a kijiji ad selling mustang transmissions
I bought a transmission from him seemed like a good guy when dealing with him got the transmission installed it was a little loud was told it would get better with break in 1500 km later I get a vibration and find my input and output shafts loose
Inspect the transmission and find I did not get the gear set that I ordered.
I ordered and specifically said I wanted Astro performance gears and was told that what was in the transmission a number of times . So I open it up and I see I got Gforce gear set. So i text Rick and ask him why he lied makes up a bull story. And then edits his kijiji ad saying transmissions will be built with what ever gear set he has in stock , I saved his original kijiji ad where it says nothing of the sort. He has not once apologized to me he keeps making excuses and saying that now that I opened the transmission I have no warranty or returnability of the transmission.
So I just thought I would pass on my story to every mustang owner that I can reach and let you know to be careful when you deal with this guy . Currently I'm pursuing legal action against him.

There's a few options out there, if I was going to sink money into a rebuilt to spec T5 and ship halfway across county I'd be pretty tempted to step up (prob in price) to one of the Tremec HD units offered by AM.


I've even seen a transmission shop on EBAY offering stuff that looked decent for reasonable.

I have to say that people like this really **** me off. Random person we don't know joins up just to slam someone's business and to top it off he never comes back. I don't know Rick or his business by any means and for all I know he's guilty as charged but I'd love to hear his side of the story.
