Rim opinions for me too!

Hey guys I'm a total noob to the site and all....so Hi, whats up? I am stuck on WTB for some new wheels /rims and wanted to get some opinions with summer just around the corner now...

Option # 1:

Size 18 x 8 for both front and back

or

Option # 2

Staggered 18x8 on front with 18x10 on rear.

As far as my ride goes its a 06 GT vert, tungsten grey c/w black stripes, FRPP handling/lowering kit, cervini side exhaust and vortech HO. Running on stock rubber for now

I like the latter with the fake spinoffs. Option 2, with a nice deep dish on the back would look nice.

Option one seems a bit ricey.

Option 2 is the least expensive one too, I am just not sure about the quality of the rims

I like the second one too.....should go well with the Tungsten.
Make sure they are good quality if you are meticulous about your car.
Spend a few bucks more to get better quality.

I cheaped out on my first set of rims when I had my 04 only to have finish issues within a year and ended up selling the rims to go spend more on a better set....lesson learned...

Let us know what you get.

option 2 should look great... Especially with the staggered look. As said earlier spend the money. I cheaped out and am now paying the price...

Option 2 would be my vote as well. The retro style of that wheel should suit the S197 body style.

cheers
