Insurance companies are criminal.
By nature they withhold cash, its all they know how to do when they owe a person.

With the economy still in the you should really see some decent deals out there for Mustangs :)

Also the new mustangs are not bad either, I just have to get rid of "The old Lady" then I can forget the House and get a 5.0 :chacha:

Houses are money pits unless you are able to just live with what you got. Renos eat up cash fast.. new bathroom can easily run around 7k and still go north fast on that.

Get a nice place and go from there :)

Insurance companies are essentially 30% scum, 30% thieves and 40% arrogant lying a**holes!
I say lets round em up and tar and feather them bastards.
Licensed to rip the general public at will.
Sorry about your loss man, hope it all somehow pans out for you!

A Good Day

So for those of you that have been following this story I got some news.

It's been a while since the accident and the loss of my car 'colt'. Still to this day I have not recieved pictures or and any updates on the repairs of the stang.
I recieved a letter from the ministry of transportation. It says that the car is still registered in my name and plates and is currently uninsured. I can only come to conclude that it hasn't been fixed yet or registered.

All this time I haven't stopped looking for a new one, but buying a house always took priority. Many dreams and a few close ones but just couldn't win over getting that house down payment.

In the meantime, We been taking transit and borrowing rides, but Mostly transit. Our freedom based on the TTC and friends patience.

Last month, our RSPs maxed out and our pennies added up, we are now comfortable with our down payment...

The 'Old Crow and I sat down and talked about buying a car. "I want a Mustang!!" I said.
We decided that we needed a car to look for houses, We dont want to live in Toronto anymore. so we will need to drive. After days of talking we decided on a $5000 or less vehicle. Since I have My heart set on a really good mustang, and 5k would not be enought. I agreed that the next car would be hers to choose and then I get the next one.

She really wants a Jeep. We found some decient Jeeps. But then my searchy finds me a 2001 Mustang GT for sale in Kitchener (1.5 hr drive)

Price: $8,500

For sale 2001 Mustang GT. 100,000km. E-Tested and certify. $8,500.00 or best offer. Please call.
MAC cold air intake.
MAC cat back dual exhaust.
Eibach lowering kit (1-1/2" lower than stock).
3:73 rear end.
Short throw shifter.
Mach 1 chin spoiler and Pony delete kit.
New performance brake rotors and pads installed 2010. New Goodyear Eagle GT tires installed this spring 2012.
After some pouts and kisses, finally she finally looks at the ad. I haven't seen a GT that low in price. She ends up wanting it as much as I do. We decide to take the remaining 2k from the house fund and go for it.

I'll keep you posted

Thanks,

So I sent him an Email asking if it is still available and recieved a response.

He tells me he's a movated seller, and that he recieved alot of hits but no takers. If he doesn't find a buyer by Sept. 12th he will take the ad down and put the car in storage.

I really want this car and this tells me he will accept any offer. I wont have money free until either friday or monday.

So I'll send him alot of questions, maybe he wont replay till tomorrow. Keep the converation going and let him know Im interested.

Is there any specific questions I should ask? any suggestions?

I really dont want to talk price over email, It gives people too much time to consider the offer and say no.
