Cool Say Sweeeeeet......

Say fellow Stangers and Stangettes (?).......

I am a relative new comer to your site and have tripped accross something that you may, or may not want to explore, regarding your exhaust system purchases.

I notice that many of the posts here at C.M.O.C. relate to the illusive search for that "Sweet" soundin' exhaust system.

There are many different systems listed on your signatures, but I have never seen "Ravin' Performance Exhaust" on anybodies, but mine!

I was looking to give the old girl that sound of "GRUNT", just like you all, so,
I had a set of these babies (mufflers only) installed on Wednesday, in Belleville. I wish I had a sound clip to attatch, with this post, so you could hear the amazing sound of these things! They are absolutely wicked! I may be an old bear, but my hearing is still good, and these things sound tough. It really gives the beast that "Don't "F" with me sound!

I had originally walked into the muffler shop looking for a price on a MagnaFlow system, and they said "We don't have them, but we got these". I had never heard of them, in my life, but am glad to have found them. I am quite sure that you will find them to be a "cost effective alternative" to the afore mentioned.

Apparently these guys have been around for 15 years. They are no fly-by-nite organization either. I believe their head office is in Chi-Town, (Chicago), with distribution up here in the Great White North.

The fella that ran the shop, that did the install, was the new owner of an '02 GT vert., that he had only acquired 2 week ago. He absolutely flipped when we lit mine up. Needles to say, I got a "sweet" deal, and he is probably installing them on his ride, as I type!

You can have this amazing sound for between $300.00 - $350.00 Canadian Dinaros. The model number of the babies I had installed is: RA334253.

Check out Associated Muffler, (where I had my install done, in Belleville, excellently, I might add) or Midas Muffler in your local stomping grounds!

Check'm out! You may be pleasantly surprised!

Check out the following site: www.goravin.com for more info.

Sounds like a nice setup, different is good. Any drone at all around 2000 rpms or so like some other systems? I ditched my Flowmaster 40's in favor of the Magnaflow catback and love the deep tone and zero drone. (That rhymed )

Personally I haven't noticed any "droning" yet, but then the mufflers have only been on since yesterday, and I haven't seen a lot of road time, with the crappy weather.

I put them on my 00 Tj Sahara and was pleased with the sound. It burbled nicely for a straight six. You seem pleased so keep us posted as they get some mileage on them

I actually was working on a car yesterday that has a set. Though I didnt hear the car running, the look identical to a Flowmaster on the outside. At first glance I thought they were flows, but I didnt see the classic Flowmaster script on the mufflers at all. Then I noticed the "Ravin" mufflers sticker under the hood. My conclusion, they're probably Flowmaster knock off's and probably sound very similar.

There's also a muffler called a "Flowsound" which sounds and looks just like the real one, minus the name stamped on it
