What size are the threeds on an S197 shift ****.
I just bought a new one and it doesnt fit (threed is too big). If anyone knows thanks in advance for the reply.

Looks good dude, but it's too bad there wasn't some way to put the boot between the lock nut and the eight ball. Kind of leaves it a little open looking the way it is.

 

Ya, I agree. Probably going to order a spacer online if I cant find something myself to fill the gap.

 

The roush 8 ball shifter **** has a boot retainer. Can be purchased on line or you could PM me your address and I could send the extra one I have your way free of charge being the nice guy that I am. Should tidy things up nice. Here is a pic of it from AM showing the boot retainer. I no longer need it so it's yours if you want it.
