What a difference!

I decided on the Steeda Tri-Ax and I'm very impressed. Installation and setting of the stop bolts took me about 30 minutes and that was just taking my time talking to my neighbour.

Can't wait to give'er at the track :tup

For those using a Tri-Ax, do you have it set on the top or bottom position?

I had the steeda tri ax in my 99 v6, 89 5L and in my 02 gt now, I tried the pro 5oh and I like the steeda tri ax more.

I have mine set on the bottom bolts

I had it on the top position at first. After driving it for a bit, I put it down. Much better IMO! I just like seeing the diversity as to what people like when using this shifter. :tup

I have an MRT shifter to put into my Mach1, just been lazy to get around to it.
Out for a bit of a drive today in the Mach1 and fricken 3rd was hard to find.
I have been told any after market shifter helps with this.

Shifter should be the first mod for any 5 spd Mustang

The shifter will be the 1st non eye candy (NO BLING ON MY MACH1) mod done to her.
The factory shifter does suck and I haven't even been to the track!

Still waiting for an option for the 05 V6 :(

the first mod i did to my stang was a tri-ax, great mod, i love it, but one thing to do is loctite the bolts for the lever, the vibration can make em back off. good to hear steve...what took so long? :LOL:

I have my tri-ax on the lower bolts :)

Fixing the blown motor took first place over the shifter :LOL:

Top position on mine... bottom was too hard too shift

mines on the bottom, but im gonna go up top till my arm heals more! :tup

put a tri ax in mine back in 99 or 00...still lovin it :biggrin:

i have mine on the top position, as I have short arms so I found myself reaching for third on the lower position. :)

awww damn should gotten the pro 5.0 lol ive heard its not quite as notchy feeling ..but thats just personal opinions

So many people are on the fence as to what's better. most are just fine and have minor differences
