Shocks, Struts, & Springs..

Okay well its time for me to change my shocks and struts so i've done some research and narrowed it down to a few choices I just cant decide. I am also going to get springs at the same time just so I only have to do the work once.

Some things to keep in mind when looking at my choices.. I drive my car hard, I dont mind spending money for the best quality stuff and I want to put down some aggresive power within the next few summers.

Lower end stuff:
KYB GR2s $200
KYB AGX $375

would pair with Eibach Pro kit or Ford racing springs..

Higher end stuff:
Tokico Illumina $500
Tokico HP w/ Tokico springs $450

Best I could find:
Tokico D-spec w/ Tokico springs $600

I was considering spending the money on the D-specs ... suggestions? comments?

i Got the whole Tokico set with springs from eBay. Installed it last week on my 94 mustang. Simply amazing. first of all they match perfect if you have a red mustang ..

The 5 way externally adjustable feature is amazing as well.. literally takes about 30 seconds under the hood, to change them from street comfort to race stiff.

I paid around $720 USD total on ebay. for everything. it was one big package.

Got it shipped to states, snuk it across the border without paying tax and then installed them @ my Highschool in my Auto class.

Get the Tocico over the KYB, i personally think.. from what i know KYB is almost a stock replacement that just looks better..Even dough the KYB shocks look hooter...lol..

JDM Werks. HP's....

I took them out of the box and actually threw them in the trunk. That way even if they pop the trunk, they don't have any proof that its new.

Either way, When coming into Canada, Canadian borders are like Ye... don't give a rats a** about anything really....

Took xactly 7 dayz to come in to my sisters house. NY, Rochester..

iF i was smart i would tell them to deleiver it to a UPS store in buffalo, so i could cross over grab them and come back.

ONly thing is you have to pay 5 dollars when you pick them up at a UPS store. which is really nothing. -Id look into that if i were u

I was actually just going to ship them directly to my house.. He said hed put on the box a lower value of like $100 so it wouldnt be much extra

Do you have a pic of your car lowered now ? How much of a differnce was it, like noticable enough that you have to drive your car like its lowered??

ill put up pics soon, but i didnt notice a big difference in lowering at first, like right of the bat... but then i drove it over speedbumbs.. and i definetly gota kick everyone outa my car now before i go over them.

Which wasn't the case before....
So took a closer look at it, and ye.. it did look lower then before... BUt not enough for someone to tell right of the bat.

p.s: keep in mind i have flow masters, and they do hang lower then the stock mufflers, so if your still not scratching over speed bumps... doesn't mean that u didnt drop as much or anytin.
