Have a Tri-Ax on my 03 SVT Cobra, and I like it !

If I was looking for a shifter for a 05 -09 Gt I would want the classic Roush Short Throw Shifter with the white ****..... some things never go out of style !
And your Ford Dealer can install it under warranty

Have a buddy that did not like the Hurst. I thought it felt alright but everyone has a preference

I have the Roush short throw in a 2010 GT. Love it now but I had several months of problems.
Initially the shifter arm would get hot and seize up after driving for 20 mins. According to Roush this is `normal` - the shifter requires 2000 miles break in. Eventually the problem did go away but seriously.
Secondly the Ford Roush dealer (Eastgate Ford, Hamilton) who installed it did it wrong. Took several visits back to the dealer over a few months. They claimed it was manufacturer defects each time. Eventually I had to call Roush myself and have them call the dealer and tell them how to install it correctly.

You shouldn`t have my installation problems but beware of the break-in period. MGW might be a better shifter but it doesn`t look as nice as the roush imo
