SLP exhaust?

Does anyone on here have an "SLP loudmouth" cat back system on thier Mustang? Or has anyone actually heard how they sound in person?
I can not even find a sound clip of them? anyway..
I have always read that they are loud but who do you believe unless you or someone has heard them or is using them.
Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

they dont have mufflers just resonators and i heard them not even two days ago, really loud!

We offer these! and Lane is Correct SLP uses Shotgun Resonators.

Similar to Magnaflow Magna Pack and Borla Stingers.

There is a Segment of the Market that demanded a deeper more aggressive tone/sound then the Likes of Bassani/Magnaflow etc were offering!

With Headers/Cats they sould pretty damm good!
without Cats you will lose your hearing and get your divorce papers in the mail! :D

Sorry , But have you ever cut a Loudmouth "resonator" open ..... I have and I know that on the Camaro/Trans Am Loudmouth Systems ..... That Resonator is completely hollow ...... The Magnaflow Magnapacks have some Sound Suppression material at least

Okay, so I take it that they are loud. :)

I can also see that some do not like them. Why or why not? Are they legal in Canada?
What I am looking for is a CAT back system that is loud. I am going to keep the stock headers and h pipe on.

From what I have read about them on the internet, is that you either love em or hate em. Seems to be true on here also. :)
Good or bad keep the comments coming on the SLP please. the more info I have the easier it will be to make my mind up. thanks.

Nope never sliced one open. But a resonator is a resonator hollow!

Magnapack I suppose is considered an absorption muffler because it has some deadening material if you want to get technical. The average Joe would say it looks and sounds like a resonator

STINGER
SLP
MAGNAPACK

However when it comes to SOUND! all the above are a different pitch and amplitude then your off the shelf Friction Muffler.

Saying this and using the three examples of what you put down, In your opinion would you say that the SLP is the loudest? Remeber I am not changing out the stock h pipe, just CAT back.
And if the loudest how do they rate or compare to one another.
Loud does not always mean better. What about sound quality?
I have never heard one of these and the rate I am going will have to get one myself so that I can hear them. :)
After this reply I think the subject should be about dead for me, again thanks for the time and advice.
Which ever one I go with I will ensure that I check your prices and others on here so that I can compare to what I can get them here in Ontario for.

Bubba_Lane 12-28-2004 06:52 PM

yes slp is the loudest

nitrous 12-28-2004 10:09 PM

if you wanna be really loud i say you gotta lose the cats...

gfong 12-29-2004 07:58 AM

Thanks guys, I will try them out in spring and see how they work. Appreciate the feedback.
