so, she's home
i picked up my 1989 notch, my mistake, the ad said 90, but whatever. she's a project, that's for sure. found a couple shitty connections at the starter solenoid, 5 mins after getting it home, and she's in desperate need of an oil change, but, pulled a couple plugs, everybody seems happy in there. ford racing wires, frame connectors in the trunk, and a nice new bbk cold air kit. runs fine, but the inspection plate is dented in a bit, apparently, so it rubs on the pressure plate when the clutch is pressed, i am gonna try and jack it up and pul that plate off i suppose. she's low, so it's no suprise.
but, i am gonna get ready to flat black it for a while, and i have some spray for rubber bumpers i wanna try on the rear quarter window rubber, i already sanded them smooth on the drivers side, the pass. side i found at the wreckers. then krylon fusion spray for the metal window trim, then on to the door handle, and the fishtank drivers side headlamp.
yee haw, i do love a challenge, and if it were easy, anyone could do it i suppose. i do however look forward to any answers i get to questions from y'all. you guys have a great site over here.
cheers

well, it's gonna get some bugs ironed out first. i think the starter is knackered, it was starting ok, then not at all. batt still has little green dot showing, and putting out 12.9v.
started sanding the body a bit last night and tonite.
so far, not bad. it'll be nice with the new seats, hood, and flat black paint. i want it ready for smoke show pics leaving my wedding in the spring.
pics soon.
cheers
