Squeaky damn brakes!

Well, I fixed the problem
I did everything with the front brakes. Took off the pads, tapered the leading edge, rounded the edges, put on stop squeak and scuffed up the pads. Still the damn squeak.
Thank to my neighbour ( a Ford tech) we opted to attack the rears. I had previously checked them and there was a ton of pad so I didn't think much of it. I did have an extra set of rear pads on hand.
Turns out that one of the springs on the top of one pad had broken off causing it to squeel during breaking.
I just got back from taking'er out and not even the slightest noise

I agree, change the Pads
Wagner are a Semi-metallic and prone to squeaking on some cars.
I would replace with HAWK HPS pads, no noise ever, easy on Rotors, and good life, better all around braking ability.
