The Steeda catback is made by Borla, but use different mufflers designed to steeda's specifications. It will be a wicked setup with the MRT Pipe.
Thanks for the info meister. Any comment on the issue of corrosion that anarchist describes? Can you elaborate on what you mean by "barely any" drone? When does it occur? How loud and intrusive? I know it's kind of subjective but if you could try it'd be appreciated.

Also, any particular reason why the USD cost on steeda.ca is some $USD50 higher than the cost on steeda.com?

I believe the corrosion anarchist describes is minor rust that will come off with some never dullo or chrome polish.

When etching into the metal, you are remove the protective coating and this can occur without regular maintenance. I have never had any issues on my car.

My car has no drone at all, because of the xpipe. I have heard other steeda catbacks with a very slight drone around 2200rpm. This happens for about 1 second.

I have never heard a better, cleaning, crisper sounding catback. I sell almost every brand of exhaust and prefer the steeda item because of the sound.

I had the catback on with the stock h and it was not too loud or intrusive. My current setup is tame at idle but WOT you better watch out,. Dr. Gas pipes are the loudest you can find.

As far as pricing goes, sometimes we cant have a direct conversion from US prices. I can guarntee you the best prices around

I have a Steeda catback system on my Cobra along with a Steeda catted x-pipe as well. It sounds amazing.

No drone in the cabin, as far as I can tell.
Nice and tame at idle - which is what I wanted, you can hardly hear it at idle.
At WOT it is loud... and throaty - which is what I wanted.

I haven't noticed any problems with the tips or anything - I use NevrDul (round blue tin) for polishing the tips and whatever part of the pipe I can reach.

I have the Steeda exhaust also with the catted X pipe and it is awesome...Have not noticed any rust yet but I don't drive it in the winter. Some drone but nothing serious.....with 4:10's it quickly goes away...revs higher and keeps away from the 2200 rpm
