Subframe Connectors

I've always heard of the benefits of subframe connectors on pre 05 Mustangs and used them before and was happy with the results. I have to admit I thought they were a thing of the past but came across this interesting read.

Proof Subframes work and recommended! - SVTPerformance

I have welded in SFC's on my '01 and they definitely stiffened the frame substantially. I know the '05+ frames are stiffer, but when/if I ever obtain one, that would be one of the first mods I would do.

Im a firm believer in using sfc's!! Had mine installed weeks after i bought my GT.
I would do the same with the current model no questions asked.

As I mentioned on the pre 05 cars I agree 100% and have always felt that way but I see very few 05 up owners using them.

Ya my only regret was not doing them sooner, it was a night and day difference in my sn95 vert.

They are on the 88 I picked up in October! Haven't have enough time behind the wheel yet to say how much different if feels from my previous 89 that didn't have them.
