Summit Racing Dual Exhaust

Hey guys I'm looking into getting an exhaust system for my v6 stang. I know Magnaflow is popular and it sounds really good on my friends car. I saw that Summit racing has one for 200 bucks though and wondered if it was any good?

Find a sound that you really like and go with that don't let price be your only guide , I like magnaflow but only because I stopped a mustang that I like the sound of and asked the driver what he had . I may have paid a bit more for it but I got the sound that I liked .

Either that, or check the junkyards - buddy of mine just dumped a set off there for scrap metal.

You can find gt takeoffs pretty cheaply but imo a set of magnaflows may sound better (also the gt takeoff tips aren't exactly attractive (if looks are important to you)).
Like was already said, don't cheap out because you will end up likely doing this twice if you go the cheap route and don't get exactly the sound you are looking for.

You already like the sound of the magnaflows so you know what the end result will be and you like it......I'd go with that if it were me.

Thanks guys. I agree that spending a little more would be more worth my while. Its just tough to tell from internet videos. Im sure many people have said this but Im looking for a deeper muscle car sound as opposed to the raspy sound. I heard SLP was pretty good too but then others say there more for a v8!

If you end up finding a set of mufflers (cause sometimes if you find the stuff used,it's cheaper),i have a set of my stock tailpipes from my '03 GT kicking around.
I also have one flowmaster "delta flow" 40 series kicking around, not rusted out, still in great conditon, but stained from oil guarding my GT,sold the other one to a friend for his F 150,all you would need to do is get one.Just throwing that our there.

Actrually I think someone was selling a pair of gt mufflers on here for like 80 bucks. I don't know if their still for sale though. How much would u sell the tailpipes for?
