I just wanted to get some of you new guys, and old members as well to spill the beans about your CURRENT Mustang.

#3 How did you come across it?
#4 Why did you buy it?

Ill start off just to give you guys a slight idea of what i mean.

#1 1996 cobra
#2 bought it in June of 2005
#3 i seen it siting in some guys drive way that i passed every day on the way to work, and then one day i seen a for sale sign in it. just had to stop and see how much, and a week later it was mine.
#4 i bought it because it looked nice, was in good shape, thought it was a good deal and was alot faster than my V6!

SO tell us about yours!

#1 1990 5.0l notch
#2 got it in june of this year
#3 was looking for a foxbody stang
#4 i sold my bleoved fobra and just had to have another stang, this 1 i have now is in minty shape , fast and i love the notch back style

2000 GT Coupe

#2 when did you get it?
ordered it from the factory in March 2000....got delivery in May 2000

#3 How did you come across it?
saw the 1999 redesign at the annual auto show in Toronto....it was a black 5-speed coupe....had a massive boner for the car....had to have one....took about a year to negotiate with the wife

#4 Why did you buy it?
well....I wasn't getting any farkin younger....I made 13+ years of sacrifices to insure the wife and I were in a good spot....and WTF, it was time to live a littlesmack:

-June of '02

#3 How did you come across it?
-Wasn't really looking. One night the wife and I were out for a ride in our '89 LX and she spotted it sitting on the lot of a local dealer with 12km on the clock...the previous owner traded it in for a new T-Bird... shake: The next morning, I took it for a test drive and as they say....the rest is history!

#4 Why did you buy it?
-cuz I took it for a test drive...cool: and it was always a dream to own a Cobra...now...I dream about Terminators!!! LOL

Its a 1994 Ford Mustang GT Coupe w/Sport Package

July 14, 2006 on a Monday

#3 How did you come across it?
Auto Trader hooked me up!

#4 Why did you buy it?
Not sure other then it was a reasonable price. I wish I had of left it there though, I wanted a white one! and still do....smack:

Now im slapping over 500RWHP and if it twists ill junk it and start fresh again but this time only WHITE!

#3:Went to look at a POS 95' that was beat to death and a salesman said "hey how about that Red one on the show rack" i replied "i cant afford that"
he said "Son our finance department can make you afford anything"with a gleam in his eye

#4: Well it only had 17,000K on it and it sure did look sexy in red and drove beautifully, smelled new inside still i liked the idea of an auto so yea i was sold.

#2 when did you get it?

#3 How did you come across it?
Asked the salesman to find me a 04 Competition Orange Conv.

#4 Why did you buy it?
I had previously (1968) owned a 66 Conv. and wanted one ever since. Couldn't find a Fox GT conv. that suited me so my wife said go buy a new one before you drive me crazy ! Like the guy said "the rest is history".

the onwner didnt have a clue as to its worth bought it about 4000 cheeper then anything else in the autotrader

Got it in the fall of 1994

Bought it because I drove my brothers 88 GT and knew I had to have one, Now almost 14 years and $15 000 later I cant even imagine not having it.

#3 How did you come across it?
I was browsing through the Auto Trader looking for a 2nd vehicle.
Almost went "rice". Then I saw the ad for the Fox GT....I went to check out the car....it was perfect for me. So I bought it.

#4 Why did you buy it?
Why?! What kind of question is that? LOL.
The car chose me.

#3 How did you come across it?

It was sitting for about 2 years at a neighbours house with the motor out, it wasn't for sale, but I offered the right price and I took it as is. Took me about 3 weeks and 300$ to put it all back and running.

#4 Why did you buy it?

I wanted a 5.0 mustng since I was old enough to drive, but never really had a chance to get ahold of one.

Was sitting at a dealer by my house, stopped in, after 30 seconds, sales guy gave me keys , said take it for a couple hrs. had fun, only 24000km, bought it next day. JEEP in garage ever since

4 Why did you buy it?

price right, no miles, still has original tires, they have taken a kicking in last month

#2 when did you get it?
Sometime in mid 2005

#3 How did you come across it?
I wrote off my '87 GT due to a diesel fuel spill on the 507. Steve knew I was in need and offered to sell me this Capri that he had acquired in Quebec. He was looking to do an Aero conversion on it, and already had most of the body kit on the car. The rest of the Aero parts were salvaged from my '87 to make the kit complete. Steve is the same guy Josh got his car from, great friend!

#4 Why did you buy it?
I needed a roller to swap the '87's powertrain into, had a fair bit of time/money (though not compared to some) into the '87's engine, and wanted it to live on (since it's damn healthy) in another car. I just could not be without a Fox body, I simply HAD to have one, since I'd wanted one since I was about 10, and absolutely LOVED the '87.

A friend of mine owned it for a few years, and never drove it, just sat in his garage.
The first time I saw it, told him if he ever wants to sell, to call me first.

Why did I buy it?
1)Friend called me 2 years later and said he would sell to me if I still wanted it
2)Threw in a set of mint ponies with the car aswell
3)Price and milage
4) Bank was more than willing to give me some cash....lol

Found it at a Ford dealer in Collingwood while I was doing my courier run.

They just got it traded in and the sales guy offered it to me for $800.
Couldn't pass that up

4. its my first car and when i seen i wanted to buy it and i did. didnt know how under powered the v6 was though so now its my lifework to surprise people with my 3.8.... till i buy a 5.0

#3 How did you come across it?
-It's what i chose brand spankin new.

#4 Why did you buy it?
-Almost bought a 2001 Bullitt,and backed out of the deal after having a bad feeling,and sure enough my wife and i were expecting our first and only child,so i kept my 5.0L that i already had,and as time rolled on,i still wanted to have a Bullitt,but no way at the time was there any around,but at the same time i wanted a virgin stang of my own that no one else touched,or abused,so new i went,and i wanted silver cause i loved how the Bullitt rims went with that color,and love how simple it is to keep clean.

hello,well to start im a new guy to fords and i thought id start with a mint 83gt,,i traded my boat for it and love the car.its 302,headers,edlebrock intake and gassucken edlebrock carb,,,i love it.it goes like hell and is a head turnen fun little car.im new to the site here and would like to get together with other stang folks.i live in port dover,,,,home of friday the 13th biker bash,corvette days,hummer days,,,how about a mustang days here???? who knows.would even like to go for a couple cruises if its close before i put this pony in the barn.chat back ,,,thanksrockon:

3- Saw it on an internal posting at my work, when to check it out, bought it the next day.
4- Always loved the fox body and hated imports, also its in great shape and its a fantastic car to work on while learning. Only mistake on the purchase is that its speed density year.



PS. 20 year old nuts and bolts dont like to come appart.
