Bought a 1995 5L, need info
a guy at work was going to take his 1995 5L to the scrap yard for $100 so i told him i could do a little better then that for him, so i bought it today
what i need to know is...
are the brakes on the 1995 Gt's any bigger then my 1996 V-6's brakes? if so i should be able to swap them over easy?
did they have any different suspension in them? i know the rear sway bar looks different and i'd assume slightly thicker.
i'd like to take the exhaust off if possible and see if it'd fit properly on my car..if the mufflers are still good. It has 99 GT rims on it..but they are "custom" painted and i don't like the looks of it, so i want to take them off and find some steelies or 15's for free or cheap and throw them on...
the interior is the same color as my car so am gonna steal some stuff out of the GT for my car...
after that i plan on turning it loose on my fields and having some fun...trying not to ruin the engine and tranny... hopefully can sell those to after i have my fun
are the 5L's any more desirable being a 1995? or are they just the same as the 94's, just in a different body? thx.. Sean

a 94 is the same body style as the 95...the brakes are the same for a GT as they are for a V6...the springs are rated different to handle the different wieght....the rear end would be a good swap..then u have 2 wheel peal.
NOW...my question....does the car still have the smog pump and all the emission stuff hooked up..if so i would be interested in buying the hoses for it cause im missing mine.. let me know
thanks

well, everything went for on the deal... the car ended up "disappearing" after having a roll deck show up for it and being fed some B/S about bank ... showed up later that week as planned, cash in hand, car had disappeared...i was out cash for the roll deck and the time me and my dad wasted waiting for the guy... so now i'm pissed... i had really wanted that car.... sorry for the late reply
