Throw out bearing

has anyone ever heard of Timken throwout bearings/clutch release bearings?

they are supposed to be real good bearings for the job at hand, but can not find them in my area.

does anyone know of a place i can get them in CANADA?

i found them here in the states: but want to buy canadian

doesn't really apply but timken is the bearings we use at work, we use them to assemble rail cars, so they must be good

Timken makes bearings for many of the "name brand" compainies, I'm pretty sure Ford Racing and Federal Mogul use Timken, just open the box and it'll be stamped on the bearing.

When I needed a new TOB I looked heavily into this. Over and over the same answer came up: stay with a stock ford one.

what did you end up going with?

edit...i thought it read "stay away from stock ford"...
even when going with a stiffer clucth?

I've done the same thing on a few cars now, Im at the point now where i'd only put a Ford TOB in, Cheaper and works fine.
