The M/T streets are 10X better then the Nittos for traction at the strip, but the Nitto's are better for everyday driving.

then stay away from the Nittos...if you get caught in the rain your screwed..others on this board will agree
If you can drive your car without seeing rain..then you'd be ok.

have you ever run the nitto's at the track and warn them down from burnouts...I know a few guys who almost ditched their cars from Nitto's in the rain...not as bad as the M/T's but still horrible for hydro planing.
you have the 555's?

you are talkin 555r's im talkin 555's the r's are for track use and the others are for street. and i must point out, tires is very general, just becuase someone is talkin tires doesnt mean they HAVE to be good at the track nor do they need to have anything to do with racing.

Thanks, i've been to the site before. i just wanted to know what other mustang owners recommended.
on the site, all the tires i have looked at seemed to get decent reviews.

im leaning towards the
BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic...omCompare1=yes

and Kuhmo Ecsta MX
