Tire size

hi guys need a little help im getting two wheel for my 2000 stang (rear) 17 x 10.5 which tire should i go with the 275 40 17 or 315 35 17 thx

From everything I've read it shouldn't be an issue. What brand tires are you looking at?

315 should be fine on a 99-04 for clearance. If you want to be a bit more conservative, go with 285/40R17 ... that's the narrowest I would suggest for a 10.5" rim to avoid the "stretched" look.

315 or you'll die in a horrible fire.























I kid.......but really......315 35 are a must if your going 17". I have them matched against my 245's stock and looks dirty.
