It will be hard to get good traction on the street with that kind of power period.
But if your looking for a good stickey tire I would reccomend M/T ET radials. I had them on my car for a year and they were great BUT do wear down fast.

Nitto DR's is also a good choice and are fairly priced.

315 on a 10.5' rim will not rub and fits.I have a car at the shop now (95 vert lowerd) and is perfect.The 315 is an expensive tire for sure.The 275/40/17 is a good tire for 400rwhp.I would use them if buying a 10.5 rim and 315 is too pricey...

I have 315's on my 17x10.5 inch rims aswell. No rubbing whatsoever

ya man, like everyone else said, i have 235s that came with my car, and i bake the outta them! and my car dosent even have a gear!, once your over 300 ho, dont matter what time u have, your gonna smoke'm in first, the only difference is, you wont smoke'm in second, and wheres the fun in that :4:
