Conclusion:

Took the old one off, pretty funny, instead of pushing out, it actually pulls IN! with some force.

The replacement part is 4450 StrongArm, CT part# 22-3649-8, $29.50.

WAYYY stronger and beefier than the stock part, when both mine were good, they couldn't life my trunk (I have extra weight on the trunk lid), this one alone is strong enough to lift it from a relatively low angle.

If I get 2 new ones it'll just FLING the trunk open :P
