Tuners

Do some places like American Muscle do better custum tunes then other places or people, or is it all the same no matter who does it? I have no clue how they work i am not mechanical! Every place i have talked to says different hp gains with all the bolt ons i am adding ppl go from 40hp to almost 100. Add ons are Roush cold air intake, BBK 62mm throttle body, flowmaster american thunder exhaust, sct x3 tuner, 3.73 gears with a install and bearing kit. Any one have any opinions?? I have no clue what to think??

I went with sct x3 tuner and Bama tunes for my V6. I'll post how it works out for me when it gets here.

I have the American Muscle tuner for my '11 GT, and it really does work. I am impressed and will need new tires pretty darn soon.

For your basic mods I dont think you'll find much difference. When you get into things like superchargers & cams, I've noticed a difference between tuners.

Just got my tuner today from AM. I installed the C&L CAI and the performance tune and I must say what a difference in power. I'm impressed.

He wouldn't notice a big huge difference, but he will feel the difference in throttle responce, and the pull threw the rpm range.

I was saying he won't really notice a difference between a Bama tune and say a Brenspeed tune. Will definitely notice a difference over stock tune.

iI've always had mine tuned at Steeda.ca. Pat always does a stellar job. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
