What is the "typical" mod/upgrade path that Mustang owners take?

And is there a grouping or heading for each level? If so, what are typical numbers for each...i.e. HP gain and/or 1/4 mile time?

In my other "enthusiast" circle, the "standard" used is as below. (Granted, the sheer number of Mustangs owned and produced means that the options are almost infinite, but I'm wondering if there's some commonality.)

Stage 1 - Chip
Stage 2 - above + exhaust
Stage 2+ = above + downpipes
Stage 3- = above + bigger turbos
Stage 3 = above + fueling kit.

New intercoolers, clutch, and "ancilliary" stuff like intake fall in somewhere...but aren't major. Suspension and brakes don't really form a "category" b/c we'd probably confuse the crap out of ourselves even more!

I imagine the path is similar, as it's usually dictated by $$ outlay.

Curious.

pretty close. but i think the usuall path , is
exhaust, because the factory stuff chokes the hell out of them
intake, cai , again stock crap is too restrictive
then chip , that way the car is breathing better, exhausting better and there for is ready to be "tuned" for more hp. IMO.

basically the fule systems on stangs are pretty good untill you try to unleash big power out of them. i think on average untill you surpass the 400hp mark. then you need to upgrade the fuel system , turbos well , now you talkin my speed. my beasty is turboed.
