Hey Guys

I think the guys at the shop may have adjusted the air pressure in my tires but I am not sure. I am getting a lot of wheel hop when I punched it, I didn't have it before but man its pretty bad lol. Stupid me I didn't think to check to see what it was at before I went in doh

Currently I still have the 19" Pirelli's that came with the car (2010 GT), the car is saying 35 PSI, do you guys think thats a little much?

Thoughts?

I am going to look at replacing the control arms after all of my other upgrades get installed, they are slowly showing up now finally.

Let me know what you guys think about the tire pressure.

I expect the tire presure is not the problem.
Mine had really violent wheel hop so I decided to replace the upper and lower control arms. No wheel hop now. The wheel hop comes from the soft rubber bushings in the stock pieces.
There is a lot of information on how to 'Stop the Hop'. The type of bushings to be used in the Control Arms affect the ride versus noise. Softer means quieter ride. Also you have to decide if you want adjustable or not. This depends on if you want to make other suspension mods or not.
I went with adjustable upper and non adjustable lowers. Here are some pics.

+1... The '05 and up cars are prone to wheelhop. Upper and lower control arms cured it in my car. Lowers alone made a big difference, plus they are reasonably inexpensive and easy to install. The addition of the upper control arm totally stopped it. The installation of the upper is a little more involved and I'd recommend getting an upgraded bracket at the same time...the stock one is pretty bendy. If you plan on lowering the car, get an adjustable upper to keep your pinion angle in check.

Ok thanks guys.

It didn't do it at all before, but I saw they had airlines connected to my wheels so I just assumed that the air pressure may have been changed because now it does it all the time. I figured that there might have been to much air in them, I read somewhere that Pirelli''s don't like massive pressure.

Anyways going onto control arms, there is so many brands to choose from, do you guys have a suggestion or a kit to pick from?

What other suspension mods do you have? Are you planning on lowering the car?

If you are not lowering the car then a low cost option is the roush 'Stop the Hop'. This gets you an upper control arm only. Not ajustable, just harder rubber bushings.

If you have a lowered car or plan to, then you need an adjustable upper control arm. This allows you to ajust the pinon angle. I went with Steeda Parts, was strongly considering the BMR ket as well.

Adjustable lowers would only before a heavily modded car.

Next you will have to decide what bushing material type to use.

Yes that is the one. There is only one upper control arm. This is a two piece component. The bracket is attached to the body, and the control arm is attached to the bracket. The stock bracket gets removed and the new installed in its place. Three bolts, one of the bolts requires the back seat to be removed.
