Where's the best place in GTA to hear some stang exhausts?

I'm from NB but work in GTA a lot, where's the best shop to hear & compare a few exhausts? I'm tryin to decide between Borla, Bassani, Magnaflows and ...? Lookin for a deep note - but not too loud & not much drone in the vert. Any suggestions? I'll be there Thursday afternoon this week too. Steve

Every time I've been to Steeda in Milton there has always been a bunch of different Mustangs there. I'm sure they would be able to help you out with that.

The only one of the above that will come anywhere close to "low drone" would be the MagnaFlow but only up until they get a few miles on em. I tried a Steeda exhaust and ended up going back to stock, sounded nice but waaaay tooooo much drone.............well at least for my tastes.

drone

Any way to hear a few while I'm working in GTA this week? In the maritimes we're few & far between with exhaust mods! I'd love to hear some in person so I can choose. Steve swfowler@nbnet.nb.ca

If you're central or east located then DaSilva's...if you're out in the west-end the Steeda.

Borla ProXS or XR-1's would sound great and don't drone since they're straight-through (like the Magnaflows). I have the Borla ProXS and they are not too loud at idle but really open up when you lean on it...but my drone is no longer there with the Borlas

Borla

How much did the Borla's cost you. Also who sells nice tail pipes to fit the Borlas. Just wondering as the stang 1992 lx I just bought has Flowmaters and within the first 10 minutes of driving, I'm going nuts with the drone.

Bought them on ebay for US$70 each. DaSilva installed them along with 2.5 inch mandrel pipes on my 92 GT...not sure which pipes they were.

Wasn't able to hear them... but took a leap!

There were no 4.6s at Desilvas or Steeda when I visited - so I took the leap of faith & ordered the Steeda catback! I installed the Catback on my '03 today ... BUT my wife heard the new exhaust on the lift at the shop during the install and VITO'd it! Had to remove & put stock exhaust back on. http://www.steeda.ca/catalogue_product_type_456.asp - Steeda says they won't take them back... guess I can understand... anyone interested in them - they're in the box
