Why Didn't Ford....

I was just wondering today after I saw a 99-04 V6 with dual exhaust hanging below the bumper...

Why didn't ford, make all mustangs those years with the same GT bumper and have a strait single muffler for the 6's and dual for the 8's. They can even doe it for the current ones too! I know that Dodge does it with the Charger and it seems to be a good idea and save a few bucks i am sure...

Just a thought....

lol that's a good point really... i always hated my exhaust on my sixer.. just hanging there. the only way to make that bumper really work is to completly hide the exhaust or go with side exhaust
