I don't mind two-toners but honestly , a nice, solid clean car is all I need. Paint it purple!

Well, staying with black is a good choice too! I'll have to pick up a clay bar tomorrow, and had a good time at the meet, thanks.

Well it is a Shelby so just give it the Shelby Stripes. Leave it Black and paint on Custom Shelby Stripes in Say Vapour Met that would look so bad a.. but I am partial to Vapour.

I'm going to go pick up a clay bar from crappytire right now. So if you are still up for coming on friday(or whenever), whenever you feel up to it. Were not in a rush, I have ZERO to do friday.

Left a message on your voicemail

If your talking about your Cobra I would call you nuts

Your paint in PERFECT now, and if you paint it there could be things that you may not want to see...
Pop your hood and there may be some small amount of over spray, same when you open your doors, and your trunk.....etc

Just leave it and deal with what you got, if your bored and want to spend money there is LOTS of other things you can do WAY before paint.
That is just me.

Keep that baby original be worth a lot more.

I'm inclined to agree..... I'm new here, so I'm not really familiar with all the personality's on board, but from what I gather, all you do with this thing is wax it. Why you would pay $50,000+ for a 500hp GT500 that is the garage equivalent of a paperweight is beyond me, but to each his own and that makes the world go around. (No offense intended, not trying to stir things up.... but, if I could afford one, I'd be in it every day!!!)

Given that you are so focused on your Shelby, I think it might be challenging to find the right shop that would do the quality of work to meet such high standards, not to mention the comment on waxing flat black. That being said, black with the dark grey/vapour/tungsten Shelby stripe...whatever... is a drop dead stunner look. Much better than two tone, and quite waxable. Good luck, and again....no offense intended from a newb, and well...you did ask for opinions, and everybodys got one !!!
