window scratches

I have a 2006 Mustang GT. I have scatches on the inside of my windows
on
both passenger and driver side. They run up and down approx 5 inches
from
the front door post. I have taken it to the dealer and have not yet
received an answer as to what Ford will do. Today I was at the Orillia
old
car show and talked to owner of a 2007 with the same problem. Has
anyone
have the same problem and what if anything has the dealer done?

Thanks
Ron

It is from dirt in the weather strip. If you got bumper to bumper warranty, they have to fix it. It really depends on the dealer. If they do not, then check to make sure it is covered and try complaining to the head office that they are not honoring the warranty. They should act quick seeing you spent all that money, they don't want to loose you as a customer. Put in the complaint. Shake things up. Worst case scenario, If not, emmery cloth works if you know what you are doing.

Ford has agreed to replace both side windows. My only concern is that the glass was not the problem it was probably the rollers in the power windows. We will see what happens.
