Windshield Trim?

Windshield Trim?
I have a 2015 Convertible. I noticed that there is no trim around the windshield just a 1/4" gap. I visited the dealer to check other cars, there was only one and it was the same. Older models and every other brand I've had, had a rubber insert that sealed the windshield to the A pillar. Seems strange to have this gap when all manufacturers are after trying to cheat the wind and it looks unfinished and cheap. Comments?

I'm always a little sad when someones first post is a negative about their Mustang. Honestly, just my opinion, but if it looked cheap and unfinished, you still bought it. I think the technology is such that windshields maybe don't need that rubber insert anymore, maybe its less drag, better mileage? Either way, congrats on the new 'vert, welcome, and post up some pics. Got a buddy with an F150 though, same deal with the seal, so obviously its a design change.

Easy...love the car....windshield trim wasn't on my short list. I noticed it when detailing the car. I've had the car two weeks and I am very impressed with the car overall. I have owned many sports cars in the past and this one provides a good quiet ride and great sight lines compared to the competition. It looks great as well!
