Winter Driving Convertables

Just joined and just bought an 09 V6 convertable. Are there any year round drivers or should I just park this baby until it gets nice.

I drove mine last year and it sucked ***!! this year I bought a cheap beater and the stang is going away!!!! spend the grand or so on a beater and save the stang for the nice weather IMO. If you have no choice in the matter put on a GOOD set of snows and some weight in the trunk and you should be ok. Just watch out for the crazy winter drivers!

winter tires a must

I drove my convertible last winter , after I took off the adjustable rear sway bar (steeda) , removed the front mach i lip , 4 new snow tires on winter rims and i kept two bags of sand in the trunk . As you know in nova Scotia we get more slush and ice than snow , I took it careful and had no problems . I say that after last dec1/07 in the first icy day I wrote off my 03 coupe . I still will drive my mustang this winter but on bad days it stays at home.
