winter mods

so winter is half over give or take a few weeks.Who is doing what to there car this winter and how is it goming along?
Mine projedt is coming together nicely i can now get the hood to close which is a good thing because damm hoods aren't cheap and to dump close to a grand just to get a 1/4 clearance.

My project is going farely well. Alot of Work to do yet, and a ton of parts to buy but overall im happy with the progress.

A BIG thanks to Stang illusions, without him my car wouldn't be as far along as it is. I'd still probably be trying to decide if i should scrap the body or not so.

Thanks Keith thumb:

Well i recently brought the car to shop for the co-op kid to strip so it can go and be painted. Also picked up a new trans, the new ford racing boss block and rotating assembly will be heading to the machine shop in the next week. I hopefully be out this summer once again!

Finally found a good deal on an IRS assembly for the Capri, so getting rid of the solid rear axle stuff now and going for IRS! Looks like I'll be selling my draglites and buying some larger, 5-lug rims though too :(

Its one thing to have the parts. Its something completely different to know how to use them! 13's to 9's is a big jump. You'll be lucky if you don't your pants the first time down the track!
