Winter plans

What do you guys have on the agenda for your Mustang this winter?

I'm not doing anything but let'er sit in the garage. I know some of you must have some big plans!

BlueGT 11-30-2005 12:53 AM

Letting it sit under the cover is my plan.

Nothing big planned for me.

SNAKEBITE 11-30-2005 07:39 AM

It's already been sitting since Sept 15. Otherwise no mods this winter. :)

kwkenf 11-30-2005 09:04 AM

I'm in the middle of putting B-Quiet (Brown Bread) like Dynamat in the 67 And a few other little things but nothing major.

89stangman 11-30-2005 11:31 AM

I'm building a single turbo setup and installing a Megasquirt to run everything. If I have enough time I'll be painting the car too.

Not to sure,maybe nothing. :headscrat

TonyDee 02-06-2006 02:14 PM

Cobra brakes from 2Kool and I am working on adapting a Winstar intake for my 99 v6.

SilknSteel 02-06-2006 03:07 PM

My only plans are ordering some 3.73 gears , I'm curious to see how much difference gears only will make for an automatic in the 1/4 mile currently bone stock it did 14.9 .....its a 99

2000BLKGT 02-06-2006 03:17 PM

got some stuff to go in the trunk

Do you have any other mods?

With some simple mods on my 99, I did quite well.

I had a Mac Cat-Back, lowering springs and welded in subframe connectors and ran a 13.9 @ 104MPH

I would say you'd be good for at least a 14.5 with the new gears.

I'm gutting my entire car (it got jerried) and its getting swapped into an '82 Capri T-Top with complete GT skirts. A small cage, mostly black interior and some new seats if I can score them. Engine is getting a Camshaft Innovations cam, the car gets 3.73's as well as a new tranny and of course some new paint to go with the new body...........

Changing blue interior to black. New black carpet, new Corbeau GTSII seats, redo headliner, redo tints, pro 5.0 shifter, pedals, and billet trim pieces throughout.

Maybe some other things I am forgetting.....

DevilishCoupe 02-09-2006 11:06 PM

and if money allows...a fresh new paint job with new lighting all around...to finish off the interior/exterior....Then save up for all the go fast goodies

Scones 02-10-2006 06:18 AM

Over the winter just gonna make the swap to the E7TE heads all you 87+ guys got and trying once more for the elusive 12.9 stock goal. Got a lot of carbon built up under the car from not running any tails so I'm going to try and clean that up before it becomes a problem. Other than that I'm going to keep collecting parts for my, oh so basic and cheap as you can imagine twin turbo set up :P
