^ it's more about condition, mileage, and rarity. Even when it comes to expensive vehicles, if there are lots out there the price goes down. The car business has gotten pretty competitive and profits aren't the best so we need to work on volume.

Speaking of rarity......How does a person go about finding out how many cars of a particular year, model and color were produced. When I had the 2010 I couldn't find numbers on it, so I'm guessing I'll have an even harder time with the 2012. Any ideas or suggestions?

http://www.martiauto.com/reports2.cfm

These guys from 1955-1989. If you get in touch with them they may be able to tell you who can give you the info for anything newer. I remember hearing that you could call Ford Customer Assistance and they could give you that info but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Being that they are just balancing out production on the 2012 now I don't think that info will be available for a while.
