Welcome! I am also from the Belleville area. When spring comes, there is a weekly "Mustang meet" Friday evenings at Panera on Belle Boulevard. If you see us out, stop by.

Hi the 65 Mustang was my neighbour’s as I was only 12 and he taught me to drive as he was like a big brother to me. I was over at his house all the time and help work on the car. The Mustang started with a 289 - 271 hp we ported and polished and cc the heads, it had a 514 lift crane cam, headers and cross ram intake with 2 Holley 750 cfm carbs. We had to cut a hole in the hood for the 2 carb to fit through. It was dynasty green with 2 white strips over the car that we painted.

Some members have mods they no longer use and or extra parts. For example I have two extra pair of tail lights for the 05-09 series. One set of tail lights is the oem set and the other is an Altezza set. I will also be removing my American Car Craft engine caps and will be replacing them with Pirate Caps. Oops I almost forgot one set of oem headlights and a stock stereo from an 05 4.0L.

So if you need a specific part make a shout out to the members of CMOC. I agree with you that the Canadian Peso sucks against the American. Shipping charges are just as painful.

Ebay.ca is a good source for parts and are reasonably priced considering the exchange rate. The key to using Ebay.ca is to make sure the seller is part of the Global Shipping program. You can also find dress up items and parts on Amazon.ca. The only time I use American Muscle, LMR, CJ Pony Parts or other venders is if I need a specific item I cannot find on Ebay or Amazon.

Just some food for thought to drive your passion and wallet.

I have a few extras to put on when it comes out of storage, Ford Racing Mufflers M5230S, JLT SERIES 3 COLD AIR INTAKE, Sequential Tail Light Harnesses, Hood & Side Scoops and hood struts. I just keep looking for sales E-Bay, Amazon, JTL, Steeda and other sites. Some will also price match.
