My vote is chrome Saleen's. Both cars look sick though.

Congrats! Sounds like you got a great deal...and nothing wrong with an automatic....just ask Chris Cruiz.

I'm a fan of chrome but that silver is such a beauty the black would look great..and then add the chin spoiler...and then a blackout panel for the rear plate frame....oh...and then fill in the rear bumper Mustang lettering with black....ooops, sorry got carried away there. :D Modding is sooo much fun! Definitely the 18's.

I'm assuming Chris cruiz is a member here! I would like to get in touch with him for some automatic mods! And haha! Red Pony you pretty much said all the exterior mods I want! Minus the black GT fuel floor, shortly antennae and some smoked out....everything! :D love mods!

"smoked out everything" ...sounds like a great plan!! Can't wait to see the progress pics.

Chris Cruiz....no, don't know the guy. Just read about him in the Mustangs & Fast Ford magazine.

From my expirience, go with the 1.5".
Over the years my front inner wheel wells are rashed up from tire rub, my k member has a few dings from large sized rocks or debris on the road, the k member brace is dinged up a tad, and rashed up pretty good aswell from certain speed bumps, ects..., same goes for my exhaust!! And all that is being careful as much as possible. :banghead:
It's a good thing i don't drive my daily lol, my stang's under carriage would be destroyed in no time!

Oh God! That sounds horrible! :frown: Mines my daily driver, and I do lots of late night snack shopping lol, so lots of speed bumps, even if I go over slow I would never want to scratch it up! Is it gaurenteed to scratch at 1.5" lowered? And Red Pony! I will post lots of pics :)

At 1.5" you will be safe, my GT is riding one the 2.0" Eibach "Sportlines", which i think is sitting a little lower then the 2.0" drop LOL! I drive my GT very careful in town, or on back roads, but it still doesn't stop the bottom carriage scrapes!!!:banghead:

Nice find! I got my '01 GT recently for $7k as well. No one in Kitchener wanted it. So I picked it up and brought it to Toronto!

If you start a mod thread let me know I'd love to follow your progress.

As for rims I'm partial to Chrome. Cant wait 'till the spring and get some Chrome!

Nothing wrong with an automatic...you can still drive and control the Mustang regardless of what some people think. Congrats on your purchase.
