Found my toy
Good morning all,
I originally posted in November 2008, (https://www.cmoc.ca/forums/t11081/)that I was just starting the search for my Mustang. Things cooled off a bit - I was on an off with the search, but a couple of weeks ago I came across this and picked her up last week.
91 LX Convertible 5 spd.
142K miles. (originally an Arizona car)
Body and roof are in good shape - the car was heavily restored/repaired a few years back.
It has a few idiocyncracies (sp?):
- ac doesn't work
- passenger side quarter window doesn't go up all the way.
- it heats up - need to figure out if the rad is toast or if the fan is working (any suggestions are welcome).
- downshifting 4-3 is a struggle...syncros might be gone.
Nevertheless, for what I've paid, I'm happy.
(Still with the original owner's plates)
Kids waiting for a ride.

As for ac I didn't really care about, as i didn't the window...I used them to get the price knocked down.
As for the Coolant issue, I probably f'd up on that one, but them's the breaks. I'll make sure to keep an extra mix of coolant in the trunk just in case until I sort it out.
