500 HP is alot of fun in a car, and sure can be a handful ;) as I would know.

BTW, welcome to CMOC.

Yea im going to start off driving it for a bit stock, get used to the feel of the car. Then add either a 306 or a 347 stroker, leave it N/A for a bit, get used to that, then add a vortech S/C to it.

What would you guys recommend for a motor? 306 or 347? Im happy if i get over 500hp. As long as it runs on pump gas, has room for a/c and power steering with good street manners as this wont be a full out track car. It will be a weekend cruiser that will visit some open track nights.

Well im running a 302 stock block, (NOT BORED) with forged internals, custom grind cam, edelbrock heads and intakes, 1.7 rockers, fuel injected with upgraded fuel system, AND A/C & Smog pump, D1sc Procharger running 10PSI and mine was dynoed at 511 to the wheels.

so you think if i went with a 306 i would be happy? Many people keep telling me to go with a stroker motor
