Hello CMOC,
I just joined the group. I have a 2007 GT Premium Convertible, torch red with manual transmission. The car gets babied pretty good. With 20,000km it doesn't see winter or much rain. I got the car in 2009 before having children and now that they are old enough to ride along I hope to increase the usage. I like going to car shows when time permits and doing my own mods. Here is the current list of adds;
-American Racing Torque Thrust Anthracite Deep Dish 18x8 and 18x10 wheels
-BFG g/force T/A KDW 255/45ZR18 and 285/40ZR18
-BMR lowering springs
-BMR adjustable panhard bar
-Bassani high flow X-pipe
-MBRP axle back mufflers
-MGW short shifter
-K&N cold air intake and filter
-SCT tuner with custom tune from 'The Mustang Shop'
Next add is the Fort Motorsports HO Whipple Kit, I actually just bought this kit and brought it home on Saturday. It is rated for 550hp and 542lb.ft. I've always wanted to supercharge my car but could never justify the cost. Well time was on my side as just last week when visiting Freedom Ford in Edmonton for a truck service appointment I took a walk through the parts area and noticed the 'wall display' Whipple HO kit for 07 GT manual that I've been eyeballing since 2009 was discounted from $9,600 to $4,199. Time for new stock I guess. In the end I got the kit for $3,800
and found out they have one more of the same kit on hand. If any of you have a manual GT this could be the best price you will find so give Freedom Ford a call ASAP. It is designed for an 07 GT manual but I'm quite certain could be fitted to any GT 05-09 with a little work.
